Pricing Your Services

Set rates that win local jobs without leaving money on the table.

What it is

When you offer services, the project usually has a lump-sum budget or an hourly range. You tell neighbors how you price with a pricing approach on your profile — hourly, per job, or free estimates — and spell out the details in your bio.

Where to find it

Profile → Offers services for your pricing approach. Profile → Bio for the details.

How it works

Pick the approach that matches how you actually quote, then use your bio for the numbers. On a 🧰 Project you go further: your application asks for an actual bid — an amount or a range, whether it's a fixed quote or an hourly estimate, and when you could start.

What to expect

Things to spell out in your bio:

  • Typical hourly rate or starting price per service type.
  • Minimum visit fee, if you have one.
  • Travel radius and whether travel adds to the price.
  • What's included and what costs extra (materials, dump fees, parking, etc.).
