Offering Services
Show up when neighbors are hiring a local pro.
What it is
Service mode adds you to the “Find Pros” map and list that people hiring a local pro browse. It's optional — turn it on only if you take one-off projects (handyman, hauling, cleaning, install work, yard care, etc.). You also fill in a short set of pro details so neighbors know who they're hiring.
Where to find it
Profile → “Offers services” toggle. Pick the service categories you'll accept, fill in your pro details, and choose how much of your address to share.
How it works
Your pro details are optional but they're what neighbors read first: business name, years of experience, license number and issuing state, insurance carrier, and how you price your work. They appear on your public profile and on your card in Find Pros, shown as provided by you.
What to expect
What you control:
- Which service categories show on your profile.
- Your pro details: business name, years of experience, license, insurance carrier, and pricing approach.
- Your travel radius — how far you'll go for a project.
- How your pin appears to people hiring a pro: your wide city area, or your exact address if neighbors come to you.
- You can turn the toggle off at any time — your profile stays.
