Trouble Finishing Your Profile
Four things, then you can post your project.
What it is
If you're hiring a pro for something at your home, your profile is one short screen. The Post button only turns on when four things are in: your name, your area, at least one language, and the agree box.
Where to find it
The one‑screen setup right after you sign in. You can change all of it later under Profile.
How it works
Your area comes from the address box — type it and tap your address in the list that drops down. Typing without tapping a suggestion leaves the area blank, and the button stays off. Pros only ever see your general area until you message them.
What to expect
The screen needs:
- Your name — required.
- Your area — tapped from the address list, not just typed.
- At least one language you speak — one is already picked for you.
- The box agreeing to the Terms and Privacy Notice.
- The "about" text is optional — skip it if you'd rather just get started.
