How we rank workers
The three things that decide who shows up first.
What it is
When you look at workers in Find, or applicants on a job, each person gets a score out of 100. It's a quick way to see who is likely a good fit without you having to read every profile. Higher isn't 'better human' — it just means closer to what you're looking for right now.
Where to find it
You'll see the score as a colored pill on every worker card in Find, on applicant cards inside a job, and on any worker's profile. Tap the pill to open 'About this Relevance score' and see the three parts that make it up.
How it works
We combine three things: how well the worker matches the skills and category you care about, how close they are to your job's address, and their reputation on the app. That's it — no hidden signals, no pay-to-win. When you post a job, the score is tuned to that job. In Find without a job selected, we use your filters and your saved location instead.
What to expect
The three parts you'll see in the sheet:
- 🧠 Skills & experience fit — how close the worker's categories, skills, and experience are to what you're searching for or what your job asks for.
- 📍 Distance — how far they are from the job in miles. Closer workers score higher; the score drops off gradually the further out you go.
- ⭐ Reputation & profile — a blend of star rating, how often they've completed shifts they accepted, whether they have a photo, bio, and voice intro, and whether they're on a Pro plan.
- ✨ New worker bonus — a small nudge for workers who just recorded a voice intro, so brand-new people aren't buried. Only shows up when it's actually applied.
