Messaging
Chatting once an employer opens a conversation.
What it is
Messaging is a private chat between one employer and one worker, tied to a specific job application. It opens as soon as the employer unlocks contact.
Where to find it
Workers: Messages tab → tap a conversation. Employers: tap an applicant → Message.
How it works
Before a chat is open, we quietly remove phone numbers, emails, and links to outside group chats from public spaces — so nothing leaks by accident. Once the employer pays to start the chat, the two of you can share whatever you need.
- Application sent
- Employer unlocks
- Chat opens
- Share contacts freely
- Text onlyFast and focused.
- Auto-translateEnglish ↔ Spanish.
- Email mirrorNever miss a message.
What to expect
What the chat is like:
- Text only — fast, focused, and easy on your data.
- Automatic translation between English and Spanish, so each side reads in their own language.
- Once a chat is open, you're free to share phone or email — the employer has already paid to talk to you.
- Every new message also lands in the other person's email so nothing slips by.
